My Story:

Imagine this: A nine year old kid is gifted a little point and shoot camera for Christmas one year… By Highschool, she knows what she loves, and a “real” camera gets in her grasp… College decisions come real easy when the world is so beautiful through the lens of a Nikon… Eventually we somehow end up here!

I have been hiding behind the lens of a camera since I first picked one up at age 9, and clearly I have been hooked on the magic of photography ever since. I always spent time outdoors, and now as an adult I spend my free time hiking, riding horses, and taking photos every step of the way. When the Midwest blows that icy cold wind my way, I like to high tail it indoors for some reading, video games, and spending time cozying up by a fire with my husband John and our three cats, Bella, Berlioz and Penny.

Putting all the elements I love about life into my photography work just made sense to me! I have been riding horses for over twelve years, so why not also take photos of them! I love every pet I meet so why not make them the subjects of my work! Everything I do, I fill with passion, and I love for others to see that in my work.

Clearly, my pets need their own section…
